Welcome to Youth-to-Youth (Y2Y)
Y2Y: Sex education for young people

The Y2Y programme is designed to improve the sexual and reproductive health of young people. Young people themselves are not simply beneficiaries, but key actors in this programme, which comprises youth club networks in four East African countries: Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. To date, Y2Y has led to the establishment of over 1,000 youth clubs, with over 30,000 members, reaching millions of young people with sexual and reproductive health information and services.

DSW's Training Centres in Uganda and Ethiopia

Through its Training Centres in Uganda and Ethiopia, the German Foundation for World Population (DSW) offers specialised training for the design and implementation of high-quality sustainable projects and programmes in adolescent sexual and reproductive health. Alongside a broad range of tailor-made training courses, the Training Centres provide an ideal venue and excellent facilities for development organisations to conduct their own workshops, seminars and conferences.

Training materials for Francophone Westafrica

DSW's training materials equip peer educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to systematically pass pertinent, accurate and up-to-date sexual and reproductive health information to their peers. Moreover, they standardise the peer learning process and provide a formal framework for the structured management of youth clubs. The French version of DSW's Training Manual and Club Management Guidelines can now be downloaded free of charge.
