A training venue for other organizations

DSW/Bonita training Centre strives to achieve excellence through its approach of experiential education and learning. We believe that people must gain skills BUT also be in position to make use of these skills. DSW has encouraged partnerships through which other organizations can take advantage and make use of out facilities. This is one way through which DSW/ Bonita will maintain this training centre as a ‘Centre of Excellence’.

Through our continued commitment and aim for excellence we are proud to partner with, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Ministry of Health (MOH), The Population Secretariat (POPSEC). Moreover, the Training Centre has increasingly become a hub for other organizations to conduct workshops, seminars, meetings and conferences. Organizations hiring these services include Action Aid, German Development Service (DED), German Technical Co-operation Agency (GTZ), Makerere University, Save the Children UK-Rwanda, Save the Children Denmark and Youth Incentives among others.

To date, the Training Centre has provided trainings for more than 4,000 young people from various countries, even beyond East Africa. The Centre is also involved in designing and running tailor made courses for various audiences and target groups.
