Peer educationEnglish and French Training Manuals and Club Management Guidelines

DSW's training materials equip peer educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to systematically pass pertinent, accurate and up-to-date sexual and reproductive health information to their peers. Moreover, they standardise the peer learning process and provide a formal framework for the structured management of youth clubs. The English and French version of DSW's Training Manual and Club Management Guidelines can now be downloaded free of charge from this website.

Ethiopian girlsY2Y: Sex Education for Young People

The Y2Y programme is designed to improve the sexual and reproductive health of young people. Young people themselves are not simply beneficiaries, but key actors in this programme, which comprises youth club networks in four East African countries: Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. To date, Y2Y has led to the establishment of over 1,000 youth clubs, with over 30,000 members, reaching millions of young people with sexual and reproductive health information and services.
